![]() EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS USED IN TRANSCRIPTS The following symbols are used in transcripts prepared at JBR Technology, Inc. A (ph) symbol indicates that the spelling is phonetic. A [..] symbol denotes that a speech like sound was heard but not understood. A [..] symbol was inserted for each unintelligible speech-like sound heard. If more than four (4) consecutive unintelligible speech-like sounds were heard, an [unintelligible] symbol was used. An [unintelligible] symbol was used to denote that five (5) or more consecutive speech-like sounds were heard but not understood. When the same speech-like sound was understood as two different spoken words, it was denoted with the first choice in parenthesis followed by a slant and the second choice word. Example: (one)/done. The time listed throughout the transcript starts at 00:00:00.000 (Hours: Minutes: Seconds. Milliseconds) and measures the playing time of the tape from the beginning to the end - not the actual time that the communication occurred. JBR Technology, Inc.
